Earth Day: Meet the Candidates

We're hosting a lively event designed to give environmental advocates and engaged community members a unique opportunity to meet and question the congressional candidates running for Congress in Utah’s new 1st District. 

The event will bring together advocates, supporters, and environmental leaders to hear directly from candidates and better understand where they stand on issues affecting Utah’s land, air, water, and democracy ahead of the primary and convention. Candidates (approximately 7–10 in total) will introduce themselves through short 1–2 minute video remarks, after which attendees will rotate through candidate tables to ask questions and have direct conversations. 

The evening will also feature brief 2–3 minute presentations from leading conservation organizations to highlight key environmental priorities in the district. Conservation groups from across the state will be invited to participate and table at the event, helping create a dynamic gathering where voters can connect with both candidates and the organizations working to protect Utah’s future.
