About the event
The Stewardship Utah Book Club is back! We’re gathering once a month on Wednesday evenings at local spots to read and talk about the issues we’re facing.
Some books will make you angry, some hopeful, some wildly inspired. All of them are meant to spark curiosity and action with people who care about building a flourishing future together. Themes throughout the series include environmental health, public lands, democracy, values-based organizing, climate psychology, clean energy, and more.
On Wednesday, June 10th, we’re kicking off the series with a conversation on public lands with the book Marketing the Wilderness by Joseph Witson. Join us at Alpha Coffee Big Cottonwood for an evening of good conversation, community, and big questions about the stories we tell around wilderness and the future of the outdoors.
